This brides father is a farmer and she chose red roses, wheat from their field and placed it in mason jars from her Grandmother's cellar. It's obvious that family is very important to her.
See the detail of rope and cactus on the cake. Someone went to a lot of trouble!
Thanks to Susan for hosting Tablescape Thursday again this week. What an ambitious bunch of people we are!!! Check out the others at http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/ .
Oh, how beautiful! Your photos were stunning! I can appreciate them even more now that I am taking photos for the tablescapes. Beautiful photos take a lot of work.

What beautiful photographs! The cakes are gorgeous, and the purple table is just wonderful! Thanks for stopping by, to answer your question we actually removed everything - we had to take the kitchen down to the studs for the renovation so we tiled over the new drywall. We had tried to remove the formica previously - gave up after we killed two heat guns! I have heard that you can tile over the formica, so you might want to check HGTV or DIY network. Sorry couldn't be more help. Kathy

When I got married 3 years ago, no one took photos of my tables (except for a few photos with people sitting at my tables). I wished someone would have taken photos of each table & the food table. I guess I should have hired a professional but we were on a budget, so my son & sister took the photos. That is the one regret from my wedding. Thanks for sharing your photos, I love seeing how everyone decorates for weddings & their cakes, etc.
ReplyDeleteWonderful pictures......what a great job...
ReplyDeleteI am so bad when it comes to photography.
