I made this wall hanging quilt when we finally got our basement finished. It's appliqued and approx 2x3 feet. My DH made the matching house hanger for it. I've made 5 or 6 of these quilts with different things on them, donating them to the Hospice Auction in April each year. They sold very well and I was tickled about that. This one has been up a long time, but still looks good where I have it. It's one of my many quilts.
Oh I so admire a woman who quilts. My mom taught me and so wanted me to develop the quilting bug - and I tried, but couldn't sit still long enough. But I love quilts of all shapes and sizes. Thanks for sharing yours, and for joining in this week's WOYWW.

Your wallhanging quilt is so sweet. I love the houses...
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful that you quilt. My grandmother quilted and have several of those treasures. I wish I would have taken the time to have her teach me how she made those beautiful tiny stitches.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing.
Your quilt hanging is adorable! My mom makes quilts as did my grandmother....we used to go over to her house and work on 3 generational quilts.....her stitches were tiny too! You must have great patience!
