As usual, my tablescape has a little story behind it. The blue stem ware is from back in the 60's when glasses were included with your DUZ laundry soap. In every box was a goblet, glass, or sometimes silverware. I had a full set of each when we were married. I believe there is one water glass left, a place setting of 8 of the stemmed glasses, and we still use the silverware at our cabin at the lake! Yes, they are over 40 years old now, but still work for what they were intended.
The table cloth is one of my vintage cloths from an auction. The blue dishes are collectibles that I got in a box of stuff for $1.00 at an auction too. The black candle holders are the only thing on the table that were bought new, and were from Party Lite. The candle holder with the blue flowers around it is actually an old ice cream dish from an ice cream shop that sold out in an auction also. Another box for $1.00, and there were 4 of them. I made candle holders out of them and gave them to my 3 favorite people. The plates are the set we use everyday, they were free with $20.00 worth of groceries and I have 10 place settings of them. They are old too though, my DD#2 was very embarassed for me to use them in the post, she thought I should buy something new and not let people know I'm so cheap!
