Vintage Thingie Thursday

My vintage item this week is my hoosier cabinet. We bought it at an auction about 20 years ago, and have used it numerous times to serve snacks and drinks at football parties, New Years parties, etc. It has the original jars inside the doors, but the flour bin is missing. It has a stainless steel pull out ledge, which originally would have been the white enamel. I really like it, and it's full of serving items that don't get used a lot, like punch bowl, stuff like that.

I'm joining Vintage Thingie Thursday, hosted by the Coloradolady at the below address:

  1. Oh you lucky gal! Your hoosier is absolutely gorgeous, especially the glass doors. I've always wanted one of these, but our kitchen is teeny tiny. It sounds like you are really enjoying it, and getting lots of use out of it!
    Happy VTT!

  5. Lovely! Are those the original glass cabinet fronts? I'm not as familar with hoosier cabinets as I should. I've lived in some tiny apts where one of these in the kitchen would be handy.
