This is my favorite bunny. He stays out year 'round. I bought him at a craft fair, the year my son left to go to the Navy. He's over 3' tall, and holds a box of chocolates. There's a card in his right hand (?) that says to Mom on it. It's like he's coming home and bringing Mom a gift! I fell in love with him and cried when I took him home with me. My son thinks it's corny. Ha! Have a wonder Show and Tell Friday, and join me as I "hop" on over to see what else is going on with the others at the below address:
I can certainly understand why this bunny is important to you. Your son will never quite "get" how a mother feels:)

Sandi , how precious your bunny is.......its difficult when they leave home. My son has been in the Marine Corp now for about 13 years. He is married and has children. But I keep a stuffed devil dog (Marine Corp symbol) and the Marine Corp symbol in my office at work. I spend most of my time there so thats why its there vs home.
ReplyDeleteabsolutely delightful! I love your military bunny! I hopped over from My Romantic Home and am so happy that I did. Please accept my invitation to drop in at my place one day soon when you get a chance. until later...
ReplyDeleteLove the bunny and the sentiments that go along with it....Christine
ReplyDeleteI think it's cute, and I bet your son does too. :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you enjoyed the roses Sandi. Everyone should have a rose bush! I love your little bunny and don't think it's corny at all. Or maybe it's just that us mom's don't mind corny! Hope you had a wonderful Easter.

Wow, what willpower. Leaving that box of chocolate full after all this time.
