As beautiful as this photo is, this is what followed 6 inches of rain in less than an hour, and flash flooding that swept cows away as we watched. Oh my, cows were being swept away? Poor things...can cows swim?

ReplyDeleteDoris and Ann, Cows can swim, but not in rushing flood waters - enough to stay alive. We saw 3 washed away, and heard that about an hour before, a herd of 20 cows with their new calves were washed away in the same area. They become disoriented and try to go where there are accustomed to it. It's so sad! Sandi
