Outdoor Wednesday- Chicago Style!
We arrived in Chicago on Friday a.m., and by night time -we'd had a tour of Michigan Avenue. In the evening we went to the House of Blues for dinner, then walked around a bit. The photos were all taken by me, as we enjoyed the life in the big city. This was 2 weeks ago, in time for DD# 2 (not 3) to run the Marathon.
I hope you enjoyed the tour of our first night in Chicago! There will be more later, as I share with you the experience of the Chicago Marathon from a spectator's seat! Be sure and check out my giveaway posted on my side bar!
Looks like you had a great time! Wonderful night shots. Chicago is one of my favorite places to visit, so much to see and do. And the people are great! Kathy
What fun you must have had. Chicago is a beautiful city and there's always lots to do. I hope you have a great week and are enjoying Outdoor Wednesday.
Looks like so much fun! I went to Chicago, for a Mother's Day gift, with my daughters and granddaughters a little over 4 years ago. We stayed on Michigan Avenue and truly enjoyed walking to different things; plus thoroughly enjoyed the taxi rides!!
What a special weekend with the girls! I love visiting Chicago. The last time I was there, DH was in meetings the whole time, so I had hours and hours to explore. We stayed at the Fairmont...within walking distance or a short cab ride of so much. I think I walked 20 miles that week!Camera in hand, I tried to capture the architecture throughout the city.
This looks like alot of fun! Your pictures are great.
ReplyDeleteI've only been in the Chicago Train Station,
