Oh great, this photo shows how dusty is was, oh well. I found this lamp along the road, waiting for the trash truck. It was all metal colored, and DH agreed to rewire and paint it. I know, I know, he could have at least used the same color of light bulb thingies. But, he's an electrician, so I'm sure he used what he had extra of.....you know how it is when you work for relatives! Ha!
I love the lamp, but the shade is just not right for me.
Sorry, but I think it's BORING!!!! So I got a brain storm, and started ripping fabric........
I think that they are terrific I love how it looks with the light on.
ReplyDeleteToo stinkin' cute.

I love finding stuff that I need - and I always need more light. My apartment is kind of dark and I need lots of light to crochet by. Nice job refurbishing and recycling.
ReplyDeleteHappy June :-)
Your lampshade is darling, I love the way it turned out too!
ReplyDeleteGreat roadside find! It's always so hard to find the right lampshade, so I love yours. So pretty, and so creative!
ReplyDeleteHappy WW!

I like this look for a lampshade. It's good to try new things and if you love it, that's all that matters.
ReplyDeleteGreat job!
