It's starting to look alot like Christmas! and it's about time!!!

I'm so slow in getting everything done this year. We are getting new windows - living room, dining room, and sun room, the 4 windows that I decorate trees in front of every year. BUT I didn't know when they were coming to install - so I've been patiently (really, I have!) waiting for them to come. Last week, I called them, and they said they were planning to come on December 22. Seriously? The 22nd? I asked very nicely if they could wait til January, and they were happy to do so. I went shopping and found these adorable little pears -CLEARANCE. Kinda got me in the mood.

Last year, one of the bloggers I follow (sorry, I forgot who- but if it was YOU - Thanks!) that showed how they display their Christmas cards. I thought, hmm... I have one of those, got it out and waaalaaa, love it.

Friends from California sent us a wreath, live, smells awesome! My DD#1, had the arrangement for working 5 years at her job, she brought it to share the weekend after my birthday, and kinda "forgot" to take it home. It sure takes a lot of water!

We have had snow a couple of times, but this weekend, the weather is in the upper 40's, so we were able to get the decorations outside done. I'm into wreaths this year (apparently).

Last, but never least, is decorating of the bridge. Icicle lights, greenery and a huge wreath, accent the 60' bridge quite well. It's especially pretty at night. Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful Christmas, and blessed new year. Sandi

A White Outdoor Wednesday - again!

It's snowing again! I'm getting a lot done, painting my ceiling in my sunroom, and shampooing carpet. Have a great week, and celebrate that every day is one day closer to Spring! I'm connecting with the below links:

One is Silver and the other's Gold - Tablescape Thursday

This week's table started out with all sparkles and silver, SO pretty! I photographed during the afternoon, and the strangest thing happened! You can see by the photos that ....

Slowly,

OH so

very,

very,

slowly,
it turns.....
TO GOLD!!!

The most delicious shade of gold!

and then it was gone! Just as quickly as it came! I think it was the mix of the candle light and natural light. I SWEAR I did not change balls. (Can I say that?)

Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment, I enjoy it so much! I'm linking up with the other Tablescapers at Susan's house. Please click on the below link:

Tabletop Tuesday

This is the buffet arrangement I had over the holiday. The picture is a photo I took of the back of a sunflower, had it printed in sepia. It's awesome. I set the deserts on the top of the buffet, the arrangement was in the middle, turned out great! Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment! the below link is where you will find me!

Show and Tell Friday

This is part of our front porch/deck. It is on the south side of the house, so doesn't get used this time of year - too hot! We are saving our money to put a room on - kinda like Susan's at BNOP.

We had to put a gate on last year, the dog wouldn't stay off the furniture.
But I had to add a little sign to it - it was just too plain! I'm joining Show and Tell Friday today, it's been just too long since I posted anything for this one! http://romantichome.blogspot.com

Vintage Thingie and Thrifty Thursday

We found this seat in the basement of the bank we bought when we were making the building in to my photography studio 10 years ago. We asked the original banker, who was in his 80's, and had owned the building (or his father had) for the past 100 years. He didn't even know it was there, so we are assuming it's quite old. DH painted it and it sits on my front porch now during the summer.

Since I didn't know what exactly this seat was used for, I started looking around and I found this one in a catalog for $149.99! So I think it's a DEAL!

Join me as I head on over for Vintage Thingie Thursday, and Thrifty Thursday. It's always SO much fun!
